Types of Information Collected
Information You Provide.
Account Registration. When you register for an Account, we ask for your contact information, including items such as name, address, company name, email, and phone number. You will also be required to create a password. When you sign in to your account, we ask you to provide your login information (typically an email address and password) to validate you as a user.
Purchases. If you make a purchase through the site without registering for an account, we ask for your name, shipping and billing address, email address, and phone number. Communications. If you contact us directly we may request additional information such as name, email, address, order number, phone number, and context for inquiry as necessary to fulfill your requests.
The personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you were asked to provide it, will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide your personal information.
Information Collected Automatically When You Use Our Site.
Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies. As is true of most websites, we and our analytics and advertising partners gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. In addition, when you use our Services, we may collect certain information automatically from your device. This information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, clickstream data, landing page, and referring URL. To collect this information, a cookie or HTML5 local storage or local stored objects may be set on your computer or device when you visit our Services. This technology contains a small amount of information that allows our web servers to recognize you. We store information that we collect through cookies, log files, and/or clear gifs to record your preferences. We may also automatically collect information about your use of features of our Services, about the functionality of our Services, frequency of visits, and other information related to your interactions with the Services, such as products viewed, abandoned carts, and navigation of our site. We use this data to improve customer experience, site design, and improve performance. In some countries, including countries in the European Economic Area ("EEA"), the information referenced above in this paragraph may be considered personal information under applicable data protection laws.
Many browsers are initially set to accept cookies, but you may be able to adjust your settings to reject cookies. Choices are browser and device specific, and if you clear cookies from the browser on any of your devices, your opt-out choices will need to be reset. Consult the "Help" section of your browser or built-in mobile device settings for more information. Note, however, that certain areas of the Services only can be accessed when cookies are enabled. Thus, disabling cookies may prevent you from accessing some of our content.
Interest-Based Advertising. Our third party advertising partners may use cookies and similar technology to collect certain information regarding use of the Services and other websites and services automatically, and they may use the information to serve targeted ads for products and services that may be of interest based on your activity. To learn more about interest-based advertising and how you can opt-out of having your web browsing information used for interest based advertising by companies that participate in the Network Advertising (“NAI”) or Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”), visit the NAI website (US) and the DAA Ad Choices websites (US, EU, Canada, and AU/NZ). Note, however, that not all service providers participate in the NAI and DAA. In addition, if you opt-out, you may still see online advertising from us and third parties, but the ads may be less relevant to you. If you delete or block cookies, buy or use a different device, access the Services from a different device, login under a different name, or change web browsers, you will need to opt-out again. Some web browsers may transmit “do not track” signals. At this time, we do not take steps to respond to such signals.
Social Networks. Other third parties, like social media networks, may also use cookies and similar technology to collect information automatically about your use of the Services through social media plugins. The social media networks’ privacy policy and terms apply to your use of their platforms.
